I'm recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing commercial energy client expanding its Solar PV delivery team. This is a newly created growth role with a clear pathway to becoming the company's Qualified Supervisor (QS) once full accreditation is achieved. The role is field-based, covering UK commercial sites. You can be based between Birmingham and London, close to a major motorway, and must be comfortable staying away 3-4 nights per week.
The Role of Electrical Site Manager:
- Lead commercial Solar PV and battery installations
- Manage installation teams and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with CDM, H&S and quality standards
- Carry out surveys, commissioning, fault-finding and handover
- Act as the senior on-site technical lead and client contact
- Support accreditation and future QS responsibilities
Key Requirements:
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, testing & inspection)
- Proven commercial Solar PV experience (grid-tied systems essential)
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- MCS Solar qualification (C&G 2922 / BPEC / LCL Level 3)
- Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems (SolarEdge desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
Package:
- Β£50,000-Β£55,000 basic
- Bonus up to 10%
