On behalf of our client, a global leader in smart infrastructure and safety technologies, we are recruiting an experienced Service Engineer to support customers across London and the South of England. Responsibilities:
- Working closely with other engineers, both on-site and remotely, to ensure client and company requirements are met effectively.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, prioritising and responding to service demands professionally.
- Servicing and commissioning security systems, including Fire Alarms, in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Supporting the small works and projects teams with surveys, quotations, installations, and commissioning activities.
- Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota (1 in 9), shared across the engineering team.
- Travelling to customer sites throughout London and the South of England, based within the M25 corridor.
Background:
- Proven experience in the servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems (essential).
- Strong commercial awareness balanced with a customer-focused approach.
- Experience managing multiple customers while effectively prioritising workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Service and commissioning experience with PAVA and EVC systems would be highly advantageous.
Package:
- Competitive Earnings: Β£35,000-Β£38,000 basic salary plus on-call and overtime, with realistic total earnings of up to Β£20,000 per year.
- Pension Plan: A scalable pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 10%.
- Time Off: 26 days annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 additional days.
