Residential Key Account Manager
The Role: The new Residential Key Account Manager role is one in which specification sales, key account management, and working with some merchants on projects all happens in this varied and fulfilling role for a major British Manufacturer in the bathroom sector. Representing some household names, the Residential Key Account Manager will target specific sizes of housebuilders across the Kent and Central London regions (those building 200+ homes a year), as well as working with hi-rise developers in the City in order to specify in, or break spec, of their ranges of residential washroom solutions.
This role will see you spend a couple of days in London weekly, the rest across Kent or in the home office. Working in tandem with local Specification Managers who will help in passing leads to projects, the Residential Key Account Manager\βs core functions are: to continue building solid relationships with circa 20 Key Accounts and ensuring cradle to grave sales processes; and to grow the high-rise residential sector in the area through new business development activity. As a business they are highly innovative and have recently brought out new products in the infection control area of sanitary products which have really helped the healthcare market. It\βs an exciting time to join the business as they continue to invest in the UK business and are known throughout the globe.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have a commercial astuteness in negotiating with large housebuilders and developers, or Main Contractors
- A flair for ongoing business development
- Understanding of the sales process within the residential construction sector
- Clear communicator both written and verbal
- Relationship management skillset β a history of increasing wallet share in a client base
- Team player, organised, and have strong sales potential
- Full & Clean Driving license
Salary: Up to Β£55,000 basic salary DOE + 25% combined OTE (12.5% guaranteed) + Car + Pension + healthcare + 25 days holiday
