Working for a genuine global leader in process manufacturing solutions, this engineering led sales role involves delivering systems direct to end users and via resellers. The Area Sales Engineer will cover the North & Eastern Scotland region for this global manufacturer of steam solutions, which include valves, pumps, cylinders, boilers, and steam traps.
The Area Sales Engineer will leverage pre-existing relationships as a brand leader and create new project pipelines. Selling to a range of end users, such as Contractors and Consultants, in various sectors (process, manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, healthcare, water treatment), you will partner with their engineers and procurement teams to design, install, and maintain systems in their premises, including new-build projects. Additionally, you will build relationships with a reseller network, M&E Contractors, and Consulting Engineers.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have a mechanical engineering and sales background
- Based in North or East Scotland
- Sell an engineering related product into process/production end user environments
- Have experience meeting customers face to face
- A confident team player
- Open to an Internal Sales Professional looking to get into the field with Mechanical Engineering academic qualifications
- Full & Clean Driving license
Salary: Β£50,000-54,000 DOE + 15% OTE (capped at 30% for overachievement) + Car + Pension + Healthcare + Share Scheme + 27 days holiday (+ stats on top)
