About the Company: We’re partnered with a global market leader in the energy market, providing industrial, commercial and residential industries with cleaner energy. They pride themselves on their quality of service and desire to do good for the planet. About the Role: Hazardous Area Electrician – Field Based (UK-wide). Joining their nationwide team, you’ll take on the role of a Hazardous Area Electrician. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection & testing of Liquified Petroleum Gas and Liquid Natural Gas plants throughout the UK. Responsibilities: · Responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection & testing of Liquified Petroleum Gas and Liquid Natural Gas plants UK wide. This will be for the client themselves & their customers. · Responsible for the installation and maintenance of IECE/ATEX equipment across the UK. This includes the likes of: Motors, control stations, junction boxes, lighting, trunking, LV distribution & ancillaries, also SWA cables and glands. · Responsible for the assembly & installation of Liquified Petroleum Gas vaporisers, pump skid units and package boiler houses. · The clients you serve are from a variety of industries – this could be from distilleries to even retail chains. · Happy to service across the UK and stay away from home overnight when required. Requirements: · You need to be an approved electrician – apprenticeship level or equivalent (eg: JIB Graded Gold card or above). · You need Compex module certifications. EX01-4 or IECEx COPC Modules EX001-8 are necessary. · You need to have Inspection & Testing Certifications. C&G 2391 or 2391-52 or 2394 or 2395 are necessary. · Experience with the installing of IECEx or Atex rated equipment. This includes motors, control stations, junction boxes and lighting equipment. · Experience in the installation of, for example: Metal Trunking, conduit and tray, SWA cables and glands, LV distribution equipment and ancillaries. · A good understanding of schematic, Loop, P&ID, and zone drawings as well as control systems and fault finding. Package: · Salary: £44,100 – £49,100 per annum. · 25 days holiday + banks. · Can buy up to 5 days holiday. · Company van – can be used outside of work. · Fuel card. · Company pension, plus a contribution from them. · Life Assurance up to 4x salary. · Company healthcare provisions. · Tools provided. · The client is happy to pay for qualification renewals. · £30 per overnight stay. · 1.5x overtime pay (past 40 hours). · Constant learning & development, Company culture: The client is passionate about delivering services to time, cost & quality.
