About the Role:
CHP Field Service Engineer - Scotland (Central Belt)
Joining their dynamic team based around the Central belt of Scotland, you will take on the role of a CHP Field Service Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Aftermarkets, you will be responsible for the service & maintenance of CHP gas power generation systems on customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Travel each day across Scotland's Central Belt to service & maintain CHP gas power generation systems.
- Conduct maintenance works on a reactive & planned preventative basis.
- Modification of control systems.
- Lead both troubleshooting & fault-finding activities on CHP equipment as required.
- Collaborate with customers, engineers & technicians to ensure the integration of CHP systems with other plant operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar service & maintenance role working on CHP & CHP gas power generation equipment.
- Experience with Gas Engine products like Siemens, Gauscor M.W.M, M.A.N, PSI/Ford.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Happy to travel and spend on average 1 night per week away from home.
- Installation and commissioning experience.
- Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification is desirable.
