An exciting full-time, permanent opportunity has arisen for an Exhibitions Sales Manager to join an international B2B publishing and events organisation operating across highly technical and industrial sectors including automotive, aerospace, logistics, marine and meteorology.
As an Exhibitions Sales Manager, you will take ownership of driving new business across two established automotive exhibitions focused on the North American market. The position is heavily weighted towards prospecting, using cold outreach, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator to connect with automotive technology suppliers at SME level; typically engaging Sales Directors, Marketing Directors and CEOs.
Working closely with the Event Director, the Exhibitions Sales Manager will support the delivery of event strategy, helping to exceed targets across exhibitor numbers, stand sales and overall show performance. You'll also play a key role in maintaining sales momentum by managing the prospect database, contributing to rebook campaigns and ensuring communication with prospects and partners is consistently high quality.
This role also involves market awareness, attending competitor and industry events, monitoring trends, and maintaining a clear understanding of the wider landscape.
To be considered for the Exhibitions Sales Manager role:
- At least 2 years' experience in new business sales, ideally within events.
- Confident prospecting skills across phone and digital channels.
- Strong sales acumen with a resilient and proactive approach.
