TERRITORY: South East - counties include Kent, Sussex, Surrey & Hampshire. Key accounts include Croydon, Southampton, Tunbridge Wells. Some London accounts but mostly outside London.

PRODUCTS: Renal Replacement Solutions - Medical Capital Equipment + Consumables

We are looking for medical sales reps who have sold devices into ICU or capital equipment into secondary care. The successful candidate will be happy to travel to key hospitals in the above areas mentioned.

THE ROLE: The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing market share and winning new business selling renal capital equipment systems and premium single use consumables backed by clinical evidence. Your main points of contact will therefore be renal centres and dialysis units within hospitals. Day to day will be selling to consultants, specialist nurses, ITU, procurement.

Education is a big part of the role, discussing clinical evidence, conducting trials, offering product support and smooth implementation of services will be key to your success. This job will therefore suit a collaborative and consultative person, with the ability to change mindsets and clinically influence decision makers. This is a home and field-based job where you will be expected to be in the field 3-4 days per week managing both NHS and private customers.

This division of the company specialises in a portfolio of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) equipment, consumables and support services. A rare and exciting opportunity currently exists for a suitably qualified and experienced medical professional to manage and further develop their business across the South East region.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have secondary care sales experience - selling into ICU or selling capital equipment for at least 18 months
  • Ideally experience selling a premium product based on clinical features and benefits and a multi-level stakeholder element to the sales process.
  • If not ABPI qualified - you must take the exam within 2 years of start date
  • Strong understanding of how a hospital works/runs
  • Technical mindset, proactive and self-motivated
  • Happy to travel 3-4 days per week - this is a field-based job
  • Must have a full driving licence

THE PACKAGE FOR ACCOUNT MANAGER:

  • Basic: £45,000 - £60,000
  • Bonus: £15-20K uncapped, paid quarterly
  • Car: £700 per month allowance
