A full time permanent opportunity for an experienced Distribution Sales Manager to join a well-established HVAC manufacturer with an expanding UK footprint. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with distribution partners, increasing market share and driving sustainable sales growth across the North of the UK.
As Distribution Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and supporting a network of distribution partners across Northern England, Northern Wales & Scotland. Working closely with branch teams, you will provide product knowledge, technical guidance and commercial support to help drive in-store share and regional performance.
The position combines account development with new business activity. You will be visible in the market, attending industry events, networking with key stakeholders and identifying opportunities for growth. Internally, you will coordinate with technical and operational teams to support quotations, applications and bulk orders, while ensuring accurate reporting and delivery against agreed targets.
To be considered for the Distribution Sales Manager role, you will ideally bring:
- Proven experience in builders merchant / P&H merchant or electrical wholesale distribution sales or experience working for one of these distributors out in the field
- HVACR experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong relationship-building skills with a practical, hands-on approach
- Ability to manage a large territory and work autonomously
This is a business with high expectations in the market, but a supportive and team-focused internal environment. The UK team is growing, with the stability and backing of a major international manufacturing group. The package includes:
- £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary
- £15,000 bonus potential
- Company car or £550 per month car allowance
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
