Are you a recent graduate looking to take that first step into your graduate career? This could be the perfect opportunity for you. Our client is looking to offer one superstar graduate the opportunity to kick start their B2B sales career, representing them with clients across the South West and South Wales.
The Company: The company currently has a turnover of £19.8 billion and represents some of the largest names in the drinks and beverages industry, selling into well-known retailers all over the planet. Not only that, but they have a fantastic reputation for developing graduates, offering fantastic career prospects and earning potential.
The Role: This is an entry level role, meaning your early months will involve plenty of training and shadowing as you’re brought up to speed on the company and market. Once up and running, you’ll be selling across the South West (Bristol, Bath, Worcester) and across to South Wales into a variety of clients such as independent wholesalers, gyms & leisure centres. You’ll be helping the current account managers to create and maintain long lasting business relationships with clients.
Your week would consist of 4 days on the road, meeting with clients face to face with the aim of understanding the clients' needs and challenges they may face. The other 1 working day will be spent at home, speaking to clients over the phone and organising your week ahead.
What are the company looking for in a Business Development Executive? Essentials first - this is a client-facing role covering a patch across the South West and South Wales. The right candidate will have a UK driving license and be living on patch, with ideal location being within 1 hour of Bristol. Outside of that, it’s an entry level role - no sales experience required! This will be perfect for a confident, target driven individual that thrives on building face-to-face relationships and is excited by the career development, earning potential and fun that sales can offer.
