Are you an experienced Automation & Maintenance Engineer ready to take the lead in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment? We're partnered with a specialist manufacturer of precision-turned parts, known for innovation, quality, and high-speed production. As they continue to grow and invest in automation, they're looking for a talented engineer to play a key role in maintaining, improving, and leading their automation efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance of automated production lines
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting complex electromechanical issues
  • Installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
  • PLC and CNC software - modifying, programming, and optimising processes
  • Process improvement through smart automation solutions
  • Leading and developing a small team of technicians and engineers

Requirements:

  • Strong electromechanical competency (you're equally confident with wiring diagrams and mechanical drives)
  • Proven PLC programming/modification experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment - ideally food & beverage or similar
  • A proactive problem-solver with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
