Are you an experienced Automation & Maintenance Engineer ready to take the lead in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment? We're partnered with a specialist manufacturer of precision-turned parts, known for innovation, quality, and high-speed production. As they continue to grow and invest in automation, they're looking for a talented engineer to play a key role in maintaining, improving, and leading their automation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Service and maintenance of automated production lines
- Fault finding and troubleshooting complex electromechanical issues
- Installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- PLC and CNC software - modifying, programming, and optimising processes
- Process improvement through smart automation solutions
- Leading and developing a small team of technicians and engineers
Requirements:
- Strong electromechanical competency (you're equally confident with wiring diagrams and mechanical drives)
- Proven PLC programming/modification experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment - ideally food & beverage or similar
- A proactive problem-solver with a drive for continuous improvement
- Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Package:
