Working for a genuine global leader in process manufacturing solutions, this engineering led sales role involves delivering systems direct to end users and via resellers. The Area Sales Engineer will cover the area spanning Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire, as well as North West London, for this global manufacturer of engineered steam and sustainability solutions. These steam solutions include valves, pumps, cylinders, boilers, steam traps, etc.
The Area Sales Engineer will leverage pre-existing relationships as an out and out brand leader and create new project pipeline off the back of this. Selling to a range of end users, such as Contractors and Consultants, in a variety of sectors (process, manufacturing food and beverage, pharmaceutical, healthcare, water treatment, etc.), you will partner with their engineers and procurement teams to design, install, and maintain systems in their premises, some of which are new-build projects. In addition, you will be building relationships with a reseller network, M&E Contractors, and Consulting Engineers.

They have added Internal Sales Engineers into the business in each region to support the activities of the Area Sales Engineers on the ground, as well as diversifying their team and becoming an employer of choice for emerging talent and women in engineering.
This role will suit a real team player who wants to achieve great things. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have a mechanical engineering sales background
- Based in North West London or the home counties
- Sell an engineering related product into process/production end user environments
- Have been exposed to meeting customers face to face
- A confident team player
- Open to an Internal Sales Professional looking to get into the field who has Mechanical Engineering academic qualifications
- Full and Clean Driving licence
Salary: Β£50,000-55,000 DOE + 15% OTE (can be doubled to 30% of salary) + Car + Pension + Healthcare + Company Share Scheme + 27 days holiday (+ stats on top)
