The Role : This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly driven, motivated & highly likeable Account Manager, with an exceptional worth ethic, to join a well-established, eco-friendly, waste management and solutions organisation, to make a real impact within their Key Accounts team. Managing a portfolio of existing clients within the construction sector, you will be tasked with maintaining regular contact with key decision makers within the accounts, ensuring that you are staying on top of all current contacts & projects upcoming, to make sure that the customer are happy with the service and continue to use our client for all their waste needs. Your sole focus in your role is to retain the customers spend from the prior year going into the new financial year. Once this is achieved, other accounts may be added into the account base, so this role will be exciting, varied and fluid. The key contacts you will be dealing with on a day to day will be varied in terms of level and function, such as Site Managers, General Managers, Owners, Directors, Procurement, Environmental, Sustainability, Operations & Finance, so you will need to be an adaptable communicator. Initially based from the office in South Yorkshire 3 days per week, you will have autonomy and freedom to manage your accounts as you see fit. You will be tenacious, driven and motivated by not only hitting, but exceeding the KPIs set. Working nationally, you will be required not only to network with the accounts over the phone but attend face to face meetings regularly where you feel it will have an impact. Requirements : 18-24 months prior experience in either B2B or B2C professional sales – either internal or external. Having sold into the construction sector or waste management services would be advantageous. Engaging, enthusiastic and friendly personality, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision makers. Demonstrable track record in managing an existing account base. Package : Basic salary range – £35000 £7.5k-£10k bonus £5k car allowance or electric/hybrid company car Mobile phone & Laptop Health care plan 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (rising to 33 days with service) Desired Skills and Experience 18-24 months prior experience in either B2B or B2C professional sales – either internal or external. Having sold into the construction sector or waste management services would be advantageous. Engaging, enthusiastic and friendly personality, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision makers. Demonstrable track record in managing an existing account base.
