A major player in Electrical Contracting based in Tyrone now has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to work for a growing company on a large variety of projects!

Company: Our client is a large mechanical & electrical contractor who has an impressive portfolio of completed works throughout Ireland and the UK in the large-scale commercial, retail, industrial and utility sectors. They are now seeking to add to their team due to their growing portfolio of projects, providing a great opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join their well-established team and help grow their business.

Role: The successful Electrical Estimator, while predominantly working remotely/WFH, may be occasionally required to do site visits from time to time and will have the following duties:

  • Fully managing the tendering process, ensuring all jobs are tendered for effectively & on time
  • Analysis of the clients' specifications and drawings, preparing estimates based on requirements
  • Sourcing & procurement of materials and labour/sub-contractors required
  • Supporting the bidding through the lifecycle process, working closely with the procurement teams and contract managers
  • Pricing projects across 3 divisions (Schools, Hospitals, Data Centres) ranging from £500k-£5 million across Ireland and the UK
  • Potential to build your own team of Estimators!

Person: We are looking to speak to candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • An Electrical Engineer or an Electrical Trade background is essential
  • Previous experience in Cost Estimation/Bidding on medium to high budget Electrical Contracting Projects is extremely advantageous

Package: Salary: £50,000- £70,000 DOE Negotiable benefits package

Location: Tyrone, Northern Ireland. All those living within a commutable distance of Tyrone including Belfast are encouraged to apply!
