A major player in Electrical Contracting based in Tyrone now has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Contracts Manager to work for a growing company on a large variety of projects!

Company: Our client is a large mechanical & electrical contractor who has an impressive portfolio of completed works throughout Ireland and the UK in the large-scale commercial, retail, industrial and utility sectors. They are now seeking to add to their team due to their growing portfolio of projects, providing a great opportunity for an Electrical Contracts Manager to join their well-established team and help grow their business.

Role: The successful Electrical Contracts Manager will be split between being office-based in Tyrone and visiting client sites throughout the Northern part of Ireland and will have the following duties:

  • Overseeing the work of over 20 electricians on commercial industrial fitouts across Healthcare, Education and other Electrical projects.
  • Helping to manage the budget, materials, procurement and tendering for new projects.
  • Writing progress reports and ensuring overall smooth running of projects within deadlines and budgets.
  • Liaising with clients across all projects.

Person: We are looking to speak to candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • An Electrical Engineer or an Electrical Trade background is essential.
  • Previous experience managing medium to high budget Electrical Contracting Projects is extremely advantageous.
  • Previous M+E fit out background a plus.
  • Will look at Contracts managers, projects managers, site managers, and site engineers - if they have an electrical background.

Package:

  • Salary: £60,000- £80,000 DOE
  • Negotiable benefits package
  • Location: Tyrone, Northern Ireland
