The Role: We're looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to take on a territory covering all of Ireland, with frequent travel across ROI, but you must be based in Northern Ireland. You'll be responsible for managing around 70 established accounts and developing new business across independent retailers, garden centers, wholesalers, and distributors. You'll be selling a high-quality, British-made range of plastic homeware, including storage, kitchenware, and gardening products. This is a field-based, client-facing role - expect 4 days per week on the road and approximately 6 overnights per month across ROI.
What We're Looking For: We're after a capable, confident, and structured field sales professional with experience selling into independent retailers, garden centers, wholesalers or distributors. You might currently be selling housewares, giftware, DIY, or similar. What's important is that you:
- Have experience managing a field-based territory
- Are comfortable with both nurturing accounts and developing new ones
- Are highly personable, organized and self-motivated
- Have a stable and credible work history - we're not looking for job hoppers
- Hold a full UK driving license
The Package: Basic Salary: Β£39,000 Commission: Β£7,000 OTE, paid quarterly Benefits: Company car, fuel card (all mileage covered), iPad, mobile, laptop, pension Holidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
