Summary of Position
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our global TA team and work closely with senior stakeholders across all areas of the business, with a focus on UK, International & US entities. This is a true partnering role, owning end‑to‑end recruitment for defined client groups, advising leaders on hiring strategy, and delivering a high‑quality candidate experience that reflects the BMS brand. You will be given the opportunity to cover all permanent hiring including Early Careers to mid‑level positions. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, while being part of a collaborative, high performing broader HR function that values insight, pace and pragmatism.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Deliver comprehensive recruitment plans that align with the company's broader goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, leveraging direct search, networking, referrals and targeted market mapping to attract hard‑to‑find talent.
- Build excellent collaborative relationships with hiring managers across all entities, both in person and via Teams.
- Build strong strategic relationships with BMS recruitment partners and continue to manage the Preferred Supplier List(s).
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process from screening through to offer acceptance.
- Utilize data to track hiring trends, analyse effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Offer guidance on inclusion & culture initiatives as they relate to recruitment efforts.
- Clearly articulate (as a BMS Ambassador) our employee value proposition via candidate interaction, networking events, professional networks etc.
- Actively track, manage, and report on candidate pipelines through the Recruitment Tracker.
- Support wider TA projects such as employer branding, Early Careers, Inclusive Hiring initiatives, process improvement and systems optimisation as the function continues to evolve.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment in a complex, professional services or financial services environment (insurance or broking industry experience is highly advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable operating as a genuine business partner, able to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders with credibility and commercial awareness.
- Strong organizational skills: ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment best practices including sourcing techniques, interviewing skills, candidate assessment methods, etc.
