We are looking for an Insurance Consultant to provide insurance consulting services to financiers and their lawyers including both written and oral advice. Review Owners’ insurances, issuing required insurance reports commenting on the adequacy of the insurances. Give general insurance advice to bankers and their lawyers regarding the adequacy of Owners’ insurance. Work within high profile team responsible for providing insurance services to a significant number of the world’s leading shipping financers. Maintain and build on existing client relationships, ensuring the highest standards of integrity and client service are maintained in all the Company’s dealings. Adhere to company and regulatory policies, procedures together with mandatory training requirements. An understanding of Marine insurance with technical knowledge in this sector. Experience of taking responsibility for their own actions and the actions of others with little need for support. Makes use of all available office tools to plan and keep track of work and events. Advanced computer skills. Proactive, always looks for ways of delivering a better or more efficient service. Excellent telephone manner.
