THE COMPANY:

Exciting times for this well-established, privately owned British manufacturer who continues to succeed and grow. They have established themselves as a manufacturing partner for many other wound care businesses globally and have a fantastic offering as a supplier of component parts or full wound care manufacturing solutions. They can offer design, manufacture and distribution of product and have the market data, research and supply chain to be effective globally. They now seek a detail orientated, analytical but driven sales candidate to learn the business and support on customer deals as well as mapping out new potential industry partners for their business. Full training and support will be given but this will suit a business or manufacturing candidate or possibly a candidate with engineering or science bias. Strong communication skills, ability to present on Teams and in person are also key part of the role. This is a great way into sales for a junior sales support or junior account manager or a graduate within business who has worked in industry as part of their studies. Part of a wider medical devices business with many divisions so lots of opportunity to make a career here.

THE ROLE:

The successful BDE will ideally come from a manufacturing background, having worked in sales operations, a junior buying role, internal account management or sales support. Graduates with 6 months or more in industry or office or sales should also apply. The role will require you to demonstrate skills across customer management, pitching and presenting ideas. Market and commercial data analysis, learning regulatory info and engaging with lots of internal stakeholders on projects. Candidates can work hybrid or daily in the office to increase their exposure and learning and occasional travel to see customers is also part of the role. Full product and systems training is given but this will suit someone with an analytical brain, good people skills, tenacity and detail focus.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:

A professional, commercially astute junior sales candidate who is analytical, good with data and wants to learn more about the manufacturing process. A junior sales professional or junior buyer wanting the next step in their career with a commercial focus. A driven, goal orientated sales person who has sold to other manufacturers across medical, healthcare, industrial or food/beverage. Full driving licence and happy travelling to see customers when needed.

THE PACKAGE:

Basic: £30-35k +15% bonus +benefits.

LOCATION: Chester, Crewe, Knutsford, Winsford.
