The company is focused on growth, profitability and building long-term client relationships through a performance-driven commercial model. With turnover of £170m, the business is expanding its sales function to support continued growth. The commercial model is built around rewarding true new business performance, with a strong focus on gross profit growth month on month.
The Role: As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business revenue through the acquisition of new freight customers. This is an office-based, 100% commercial role suited to proven new business hunters. The role will start as 100% new business, evolving into a split as you build and retain your own customer base. This is a true win-and-keep structure, allowing you to accumulate clients and grow earnings month after month. You will be selling all freight services into small and medium-sized companies. Success in this role is defined by consistent month-on-month GP growth, for example increasing revenue each month rather than maintaining flat performance. Average order sizes are circa £400 per shipment, with targets building over time as your client base grows.

The Package:
