Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and winning new business? We’re looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join a growing company within the hygiene solutions sector.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a defined territory, responsible for developing new business opportunities, while managing and growing a small number of existing accounts. This will be set to increase however as this is a win and retain role so any new clients you bring on board will remain your responsibility to retain and grow. This is a field-based role where you’ll be out meeting clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored hygiene solutions that add real value. Given the nature of our clients' proposition your customer base will be highly varied and could be anyone from SME/Corporate offices, to Hospitality, to Leisure and beyond. You will have full autonomy over who you target so fresh ideas of new markets you could open up or bring to the table will be well received.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve and exceed targets
- Identify, approach, and win new business opportunities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
- Conduct site visits and present tailored solutions to clients
- Maintain a strong pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity
About You
- Proven track record in B2B sales, having worked in a field-based role for 3 years +
- Experience having sold hygiene solutions would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive, target-driven mindset
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Full UK driving licence required
