A strong opportunity for a commercially driven field sales professional with a creative eye to join a growing wholesale business within the home décor sector.
This is a field sales position focused on managing and developing relationships across an established customer base while actively identifying new opportunities within your territory. The role is approximately 80% account management and 20% new business development.
You will be selling a wide range of framed wall art, canvas prints, and decorative artwork collections including seasonal ranges and hand-finished pieces to retail and interior trade customers. Working closely with owners and buying teams, you will present new collections, introduce product updates, and secure repeat and incremental orders.
Sales cycles are relatively short, requiring a proactive and organised approach to territory management and pipeline development. Typically, you will be managing furniture stores, garden centres, home stores, gift shops, department stores and galleries.
Location – Newcastle/Cumbria down to North Wales/Sheffield. Field-based role covering North of England. Candidates should be based within the region to effectively manage travel requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a field sales role
- Comfortable working independently in a territory-based role – used to journey planning
- Have previously sold to similar retailers
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with a creative mindset
- Full UK driving licence essential
The Package:
- £35,000-£38,000 basic salary
- On-target earnings up to £44,000 in year one, c. £50,000 in year two
