Senior commercial contracts opportunity with a long-established engineering business. Play a key role in protecting commercial interests while enabling business growth. Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Finance on complex projects.

Full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits.

The Role: Take ownership of the full contractual lifecycle for engineered projects, from reviewing NDAs and negotiating contracts through to project governance, claims management and dispute resolution. You’ll provide commercial and non-contentious legal support, helping secure commercially sound agreements while managing contractual risk and supporting successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience drafting and negotiating complex project agreements
  • Strong knowledge of liability, indemnities, warranties, liquidated damages, insurance and performance security
  • Confident negotiator with strong commercial judgement
  • Degree in Law or Quantity Surveying

The Package:

  • £60,000-£70,000 basic salary
