The Role
Looking for a new remote sales role where you can earn uncapped commission paid monthly, have autonomy over your diary, and are driving new business with an extensive database to go at? This could be the one for you.
We are working with a leading European manufacturer of automated car wash solutions & equipment which you would typically see in petrol station forecourts and garages across the UK. The brand new Business Development Manager position would see you driving sales of chemicals & consumables into existing car wash operators who are using your equipment, or a competitor\’s.
Your client base will consist of independent petroleum forecourt operating businesses who have between 1-20 sites. You’ll be supported by regional Area Sales Managers who are selling in the equipment to such end users and you’ll be able to capitalise on their sales by upselling chemical contracts alongside them. In addition, you have an existing portfolio of end users nationally who have existing equipment on site which needs chemicals.
This is a very exciting position in so much as the market is massively swaying away from the hand car wash model which has grown in the UK over the past 10 years and moving very rapidly back to high-quality, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective automated car cleaning solutions. There is a lot of investment into new forecourts, EV charging hubs, and jet-wash parks across the UK in order to clean & maintain the 35 million cars on our roads – this Business Development Manager role has been born out of growth and is a brand new position to add to the existing UK sales team. There is a superb opportunity for career progression here in the coming years as this new chemical team grows, starting with you!

Requirements
Have a business development background with a consultative approach
Can work collaboratively with others in the sales team
An organised, structured, and motivated sales professional
Happy with UK travel where required
Ideally come from a chemical or consumables based background
Someone who is comfortable with national travel where required
Clean driving licence
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + uncapped commissions (c. £6k – £10k year 1, paid monthly) + Hybrid or Electric vehicle + pension + up to 25 days holiday + Phone + Laptop + iPad
