A rare and exciting sales opportunity exists within a continually growing healthcare organisation. As Territory Sales Manager for the Northern region, the successful candidate will work across a specialist product range including a new, innovative product that greatly assists during surgery. You will be seeking opportunities to upsell, cross sell and maximise the business presence within their neurosurgery portfolio of devices, capital equipment and consumables. The company has excellent training, product support and clinical trainers to provide education and technical help, but candidates will also need to demonstrate a passion and aptitude for learning technical products and absorbing clinical information.

Typical contact will be with Neurosurgeons, Neurophysiologists, theatre teams, procurement, consultants and nurses. An involved, hands-on role with daily travel across the North West, Yorkshire and the North East. Full product training will be provided.

The company has a diverse portfolio of products across Otology, ENT, plastics and Neuro. It is now a thriving, specialist medical distributor with a very experienced and passionate management team. They have excellent clinical relationships in major neuro centres in the UK and provide detailed and thorough training from in-house training specialists as well as manufacturer support. They also offer career opportunities to people wanting to specialise in a clinical or product specific area.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years’ experience in surgical sales role, ideally within a specialist technical product arena
  • Stable track record is essential
  • Able to build long lasting clinical relationships
  • Ability to sell across a varied portfolio
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

The Package for Territory Sales Manager

  • Basic: £50k to £64k DOE
  • Commission of £20-25k (uncapped)
  • Company car
  • Benefits: Pension, Healthcare
  • Holidays: 25 days + stats

The successful candidate will live on patch, with an ideal location being Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield or Leeds.
