The Role:
This is a field-based Business Development role focused on managing and growing key accounts across the North of England. You’ll drive revenue by developing existing relationships, identifying new opportunities within major multi-site customers, and delivering tailored, solution-led propositions.
- 4 days per week client-facing in the field
- 1 day per week home-based for planning and administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and develop key accounts across hospitality, public sector, and institutional clients
- Identify and convert new revenue opportunities within existing customer bases
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Deliver consultative, solution-led sales approaches
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and account strategy
- Maintain a consistent presence with clients through regular site visits
About You:
- Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or similar role
- Experience managing and growing major or multi-site accounts
- Background selling into hospitality groups, NHS, local authorities, or universities
- Open to candidates from both food and non-food sectors
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated, customer-facing, and comfortable in a field-based role
