This is a fantastic opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join a globally recognised manufacturer with over 80 years of industry expertise. Known for their market-leading cable management and network connectivity solutions, this company boasts the most comprehensive product range available and a strong commitment to sustainability.
As Key Account Manager, you’ll focus on building relationships, identifying customer challenges, and delivering tailored solutions across a wide spectrum of industries including automotive, aerospace, defence, panel building, off-highway vehicles, and M&E. You’ll spend four days a week on the road, meeting with design, production and project engineers at OEMs and end users. One day a week will be dedicated to remote admin and follow-up work from home. With a well-established base of loyal accounts, particularly electrical wholesalers, around 70-80% of your time will be focused on account development, while the rest is dedicated to new opportunities within your region.
Your sales territory encompasses Scotland, Tyne Tees & Northern Ireland. You will visit customers in Northern Ireland once a quarter, so there will be the occasional night away from home.
Requirements:
- B2B field sales experience is essential
- Strong solution-based sales approach with a track record of solving customer problems
- Excellent questioning and listening skills
- Ambitious, self-driven, and career minded
- Full UK driving licence
The Package:
- £48,000 – £52,000 basic salary
- £7,000 annual bonus paid quarterly
- Hybrid or EV company car OR £600/month car allowance
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
