Lead and develop a team of Business Development professionals in a growing construction services environment. National role with a blend of office and field-based activity. Hands-on sales leadership position with genuine influence on performance and culture. Opportunity to shape processes, coaching strategies and team success.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Lead to manage and develop a team of six Business Development professionals within the construction services sector. This is a highly tactical leadership role focused on coaching, mentoring and driving performance through a data-led approach. You will work closely with the team on sales cadence, outreach strategies, scripting, multi-channel engagement and KPI delivery, while supporting customer meetings where required. The role covers a national customer base, engaging with businesses requiring waste management and related site services.

Location: Hybrid working with 3-4 days per week in the office. Applicants should ideally be located within one hour of Loughton.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, coaching or people management
  • Background in B2B sales, account management or business development
  • Comfortable leading from the front with a hands-on approach
  • Data-driven mindset with experience improving sales performance and activity levels
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Full UK driving licence required

The Package:

£55k-65k basic salary DOE + uncapped bonus scheme, £15k+ year 1. 25 days holiday, pension, company car possibility if required.
