They have an extensive range of over 3,000 products allowing their customers to install, test and maintain IT networks. This business invests in their graduates from the beginning, offering both internal and external industry-leading training tailored to the individual where possible. You will also be enrolled onto sales training within the first year of your employment. Every trainee will also receive 1 to 1 mentoring from an experienced business manager. There are significant opportunities for progression throughout the group and you will be given access to all the tools necessary to forge yourself a successful career.
The role: In your first 3 months as a Commercial Trainee you will receive a thorough induction, spending time in each department of the business with a training guide to complete. This gives you a great opportunity to learn and understand all aspects of the business. After this time you will be introduced to your sales targets. You will be given approximately 100 customers with your role initially being largely focussed on account management and you will also be given the opportunity to seek out new customers.
What do you need for the role:
- Enthusiasm – this is vital for sales, both for speaking to clients & when you’re in the workplace with your team!
- Active listening – you have two ears and one mouth, use them to that ratio and you give yourself a much greater chance of succeeding in sales.
- Location – This is initially an office role, based in Crawley.
- Driving License – This will aid you in the opportunity to progress into a field sales position.
