The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Purchasing Trainee looking to kick-start a career in purchasing, procurement and commercial business. You’ll work alongside an experienced General Manager, gaining hands-on experience across the purchasing function while developing valuable commercial skills and building strong supplier relationships. Working closely with multiple departments, you’ll play an important role in ensuring products are sourced efficiently and projects are delivered successfully. From day one you’ll receive structured training, one-to-one mentoring and exposure to every area of the business. You’ll also have access to internal development programmes designed to accelerate your career within a growing national organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with suppliers
- Processing purchase invoices
- Checking and managing purchase orders
- Updating product pricing
- Supporting the wider purchasing function
- Working closely with colleagues across the business
