The company

Established in 1990, our client is one of the leading distributors of test instrument supply, repair and calibration. They have 83 employees and a turnover of £13 million per year, ensuring all salespeople are fully trained by the leading test instrument manufacturers. They provide free support and full technical demonstrations to help customers select the right product for their application. Their diverse customer base includes utilities, streetworks and rail sectors, facilities maintenance teams, manufacturing, processing and industrial plants, as well as individual contractors and electricians.

The role

Based from their Glasgow office, your role as an Internal Sales Executive would initially see you learn all aspects of the business. You will go on a journey in this role, with the first 3 months being mainly focused on product and sales training, followed by being introduced to your sales targets. You will be representing their full range of products over the phone and will be doing a mixture of account management and new business development. You will be mentored closely by the Sales Manager who is committed to helping you make this role a success.
