The Role
As a Graduate Financial Accountant you will learn how the accounting world works whilst gaining CIMA qualification in Managing Accounting. This is something you will study during the first 4 years of your employment and will be fully funded by Edmundson Electrical to see you become a fully qualified Accountant. You will liaise on a daily basis with other departments and trading locations across Edmundson Electrical businesses as a whole and must feel comfortable speaking with a variety of people, querying things that may not appear correct and questioning accounts (mainly done over the phone). Although you will have specific duties, Edmundson are looking for candidates that are happy to help in any area that is needed, being a team player and chipping in as and when you can! The more you are willing to get involved in things you may be unsure of, the more you will be likely to learn! There are progression opportunities for you throughout your studies; post‑qualification you can consider Team Leader and Management opportunities in the future.

- Educated to degree level (preferred)
- Well presented and willing to work in an office environment of young professionals
- Commutable to Knutsford 5 days a week
- Preferably have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Ability to hit tight deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
This role requires you to work overtime (this is paid in addition to your salary). Please note that the periods of overtime tend to fall within the first few working days of each month and also throughout January (year‑end).
