Are you a University graduate (or graduate to-be!) seeking an entry level opportunity to be an Business Development Manager in London? Consider yourself a confident individual, capable of building relationships day-to-day in a bid to hit sales targets? This may be ideal for you!

BMS Performance are currently working with a major client in the test equipment supplier market. They sell a wide range of test equipment products sourced from leading manufacturers and their in-house calibration and repair services. Within the electrical wholesale market, they sell into the Public Sector, Student Accommodation, Building Merchants and more.

What will the opportunity look like?

Our client is seeking an entry level candidate to join as Business Development Manager that covers the entire of London.

Your first 3 months will be spending time in each department of the business with an extensive training guide to support. Your time will be split between new business development (60%) and account management (40%).

They believe their people are their greatest and most valuable assets. Their team deliver excellent customer service and product solutions to a broad customer base ranging from small local ‘one-man-band’ electricians to large multi-national mechanical and electrical contracting companies, Electrical Wholesalers, Facilities Management companies, colleges, universities and hospitals throughout the UK.

Alongside all the internal training you’ll do with the business, there is opportunity to be enrolled into a professional Level 4 Sales Training Apprenticeship delivered by well-respected sales training provider BMS Progress.

What are we looking for?

  • Confidence! Someone that is a good communicator, perhaps due to a background in hospitality or through a hobby such as sport.
  • Resilience… sales isn’t easy! The up & down nature of field sales is suited to an individual that wants to be rewarded for succeeding in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm & relationship building – This role is ideal for an entry level individual that has great relationship building skills and wants to progress in their career.
  • Driving licence, the role is client facing therefore the candidate requires a full UK driving licence.

What is the package on offer?

  • £31,000 basic salary
  • Annual profit-sharing scheme to recognise performance against target
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Fully paid for Level 4 Sales Training Apprenticeship (Delivered by BMS Progress)
