The ideal candidate will be based in South East England or Greater London and will hold a full UK driving license and will be looking for a role that involves a large amount of travel. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate to kick-start a graduate field sales position within a company that has a fantastic track record of hiring, training, and developing graduates.

Our client has a fantastic track record of hiring and developing graduates into senior sales roles! As part of a company group that turns over $8.3bn worldwide, they are a well-established name and well known on the high street as a brand leader.

They offer a variety of different DIY products, and your focus would be within the construction industry, selling a portfolio of top-end adhesive products into building and trade professionals.

This is a rare opportunity for candidates determined to build a career in B2B sales and can build relationships at the manager level. You will focus on product training and demonstrations, encouraging and incentivizing the product.

Responsibilities

As an Area Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting the company’s extensive range of DIY products. You will manage a field sales region covering South East England and Greater London, looking after DIY outlets, national wholesalers, and multiple retail accounts. Responsibilities include in-store training, merchandising, brand development, and growth of profitable sales across your territory.

Minimum Requirements

  • Educated to degree level ideally or equivalent but not essential
  • Confidence to speak to a variety of decision-makers of all levels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, possessing great relationship-building skills
  • Well-presented, professional, and articulate
  • Ability to work independently
  • Full UK Driving Licence
