About the Company: Our client is a globally recognised healthcare technology manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for innovation and clinical excellence. Their products are trusted by healthcare professionals worldwide to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Field Technician to support customers across the East Midlands and North London region on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Role Overview: This is a customer-facing role responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced medical equipment within hospitals and healthcare environments. You’ll work independently across your territory, supporting customers through planned maintenance visits, fault diagnosis, minor repairs, technical support, and equipment commissioning activities. The role would suit someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving technical problems, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults on medical equipment and associated systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits
  • Complete service visits and technical inspections
  • Undertake minor repairs and corrective maintenance
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers
  • Support equipment demonstrations and commissioning activities
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and records
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare customers

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous Field Service or Field Technician experience
  • Hands-on technical or engineering background
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Medical device experience advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
