Our client is a globally recognised medical technology manufacturer specialising in infection prevention and sterilisation solutions. Their products play a vital role in helping hospitals safely reprocess reusable surgical instruments and medical devices, ensuring patients receive the highest standards of care. With continued investment in their UK service operation, they are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South of the UK. Role Overview:

This is a field-based position supporting hospitals through the installation, planned preventative maintenance, calibration, validation, and repair of advanced sterilisation and high-level disinfection equipment. The majority of your time will be spent completing planned maintenance activities, alongside breakdown support, validation work, and customer technical support. The role offers a great mix of autonomy, technical challenge, and customer interaction within a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Complete validation testing on sterilisation equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and undertake reactive breakdown repairs.
  • Service advanced medical sterilisation and disinfection systems.
  • Support networking and connectivity of installed equipment.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with hospital engineering teams and clinical customers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous Field Service Engineering experience within medical devices.
  • Validation experience is essential.
  • Experience working on regulated medical equipment.
  • Good understanding of networking and IT connectivity.
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Salary: Up to £50,000.
