We’re recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised engineering manufacturer known for high-quality industrial equipment and long-term employee development. Their UK operation combines cutting-edge technology with a strong service network.

This Field Service Engineer role covers customers across the Midlands and North East, with candidates considered from Birmingham, Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, York, Newcastle and surrounding areas.

You’ll service, maintain and repair a range of industrial compressors, generators and associated equipment, supporting a varied customer base across manufacturing, utilities, logistics and heavy industry. Average of 1 night away per week.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining industrial compressors, generators, or related rotating equipment.
  • Ideally Level 3 qualified.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working in a field service environment.
  • Full UK driving licence with full right to work without the need for sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region with occasional overnight stays.

Package:

  • Salary up to £43,000.
  • Company vehicle.
  • 15% pension (5% employee / 10% employer).
  • Overtime opportunity up to £8,000.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 27 days).
  • Private medical insurance following probation.
