A market-leading electrical products supplier is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to manage and grow an established territory across the North of England.
Founded in 1988 and part of a large international group with $1.7bn global turnover, the business is recognised for product innovation, quality and operational strength. With 4,000+ products, high stock holding and 24-48-hour delivery, the company operates as a true one-stop shop for independent retailers and buying groups.
The Role
- Field-based position (4 days on the road, 1-day WFH)
- Manage an existing customer base with growth opportunities
- 80% account management / 20% new business
- Sell a broad, varied product range
- Visit 4-6 customers per day
- Build relationships with owners, buyers and procurement managers
Requirements
- 2+ years B2B field sales experience
- Experience selling a broad or varied product range
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Organised, adaptable and self-motivated
- Comfortable managing a regional territory
Package
- £38,000-£45,000 basic salary
