The Role

  • Working in a hybrid role based 2-3 days per week from the Eastbourne office, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities by contacting prospective customers and introducing tailored logistics and shipping solutions.
  • This is a proactive outbound sales position where success comes from building rapport, understanding customer challenges and demonstrating how your solutions can add value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through high-volume outbound calling.
  • Identify decision-makers and build relationships with prospective customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide consultative, solution-led recommendations.
  • Qualify opportunities and convert them into long-term customers.
  • Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to closing.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately update the CRM system.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales and activity targets.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in outbound sales who enjoys speaking to customers and closing deals. You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within the logistics, courier or freight industry.
  • A strong background in internal sales or telesales.
  • Experience making a high volume of outbound calls.
  • A track record of selling services rather than physical products.
  • Experience selling consultatively by identifying customer needs and recommending solutions.
  • Strong objection-handling and closing skills.
