BMS are delighted to be supporting one of the most exciting names in university software with a crucial hire. This well-established EdTech business is looking to appoint their first ever Customer Success Manager in the UK. Part of a larger international group following a recent acquisition, the company is investing seriously in its CS function and this is a genuine opportunity to shape something from the ground up.

The business sells education timetabling software – including a newly launched AI-native tool – to Universities, Further Education colleges and adult learning providers across the UK. With around 100 existing clients and strong retention already in place, the focus of this role is deepening relationships, driving renewal and reducing churn.

The Role

  • Own a portfolio of approximately 60 existing accounts across Higher and Further Education
  • Build deep relationships at Timetabling Manager, Student Services, MIS and Project Manager level
  • Meet clients in person at least once per year and manage the full lifecycle through to renewal and tender
  • Introduce and gain buy-in for the new AI timetabling tool across the existing client base
  • Help define and build out the CS process – this is a first hire, so your ideas and initiative will matter

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years in a Customer Success or Account Management role within SaaS or EdTech
  • Proactive by nature – someone who drives value for clients rather than waiting to be asked
  • Experience rolling out or improving CS processes, with the confidence to bring your own ideas
  • Any knowledge of the university or college sector is a genuine advantage
  • Curious, trustworthy and patient – this client values character highly and is making a culture-first hire

The Package

  • Base salary: £45,000-£55,000
  • OTE: 10%, paid monthly
  • Mobile allowance, mileage paid, pension
  • £300 annual benefits allowance (gym, wellbeing and more), electric car scheme after 6 months
  • 25 days holiday
