About the Company: Our client is an established building controls specialist delivering BMS projects, service, and maintenance across the UK. With a strong reputation for staff retention and a supportive, family‑run culture, they continue to grow across multiple regions. Operating across projects typically ranging up to £100k, they are now looking to appoint a BMS Project Engineer to support delivery across Yorkshire.

Role Overview: This is a hands‑on role supporting the delivery of BMS projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with clients, manage subcontractors, support commissioning, and in many cases develop or modify control software. The role is ideal for a Commissioning or Service Engineer looking to step into projects, with training and support available to progress into a Project Management position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage BMS projects from concept through to handover
  • Liaise with clients and key stakeholders
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activity
  • Support and oversee commissioning activities
  • Develop or modify BMS software where required

Key Requirements:

  • Experience within BMS (Service, Commissioning, or Projects)
  • Knowledge of Trend or Tridium systems
  • Strong technical understanding of building controls and HVAC
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple project elements
