MIG Welder
Location: Highbridge, Somerset
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £15.00 - £19.00 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week over 4 days
Every Friday Off
Monday to Wednesday: 7:00am - 4:30pm
Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Friday: Off
The Role:
We are recruiting for a MIG Welder to join an established manufacturing company based in Highbridge. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering a four-day working week, with 37 hours worked between Monday and Thursday and every Friday off.
The successful candidate will be carrying out MIG welding as part of the manufacture of the company’s products, predominantly working with mild and stainless steel. The company is looking for someone with previous MIG welding experience; however, they are happy to consider candidates whose experience has predominantly been welding mild steel and can provide training in stainless steel welding.
There is also an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to further develop their welding qualifications, with the company happy to support employees in gaining relevant welding codings in-house.
Your Responsibilities:
- Carry out MIG welding and fabrication work as part of the company’s manufacturing process.
- Produce components and assemblies to the required quality and specification.
- Weld mild steel and stainless steel.
