We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Stores Operative to join a busy and fast-paced team in Chippenham on a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in warehouse or stores environments who is confident working with systems and managing stock efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Booking goods in and out of stores using SAP
- Kitting components for production or dispatch
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
- Supporting general stores and warehouse operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role
- Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Counterbalance forklift licence (preferred)
