This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in product design, value engineering, and cost reduction to play a key role in delivering engineering improvements across a range of complex products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing engineering changes while maintaining product performance, quality, reliability, and compliance standards.
The Role
- Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and external suppliers, you will identify and deliver cost-reduction initiatives through practical engineering solutions.
- You will take ownership of engineering design changes, from concept through validation and release, ensuring improvements can be successfully implemented into production environments.
- The role will involve evaluating existing designs, developing lower-cost alternatives, validating proposed changes through analysis and testing, and supporting their introduction into manufacturing.
