The Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation to recruit a mechanically biased Product Support Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative engineering environment where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in supporting engineering projects from concept through to production, ensuring high standards are maintained while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings
  • Provide hands‑on support within production, including troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Generate and manage new parts within the PLM system
  • Update legacy drawings to meet current specifications and standards
  • Collaborate with senior management and multidisciplinary teams
  • Produce clear and accurate technical documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Practical, hands‑on mechanical experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred; other systems considered)
  • Experience with 2D CAD would be advantageous
  • Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation
