We are recruiting for a Process Engineer on behalf of a leading advanced manufacturing business based in Chippenham. Operating within a highly regulated, complex manufacturing environment, this role will support the development, implementation and optimisation of manufacturing processes across electrical, electronic, mechatronic and mechanical product lines. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer who enjoys improving manufacturing efficiency, introducing robust production processes and working closely with production, engineering and quality teams to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Analyse existing production methods and identify opportunities for improvement in quality, efficiency, cost and throughput.
- Work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Production teams to ensure processes are capable, repeatable and robust.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturing processes are developed and validated effectively.
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
