Working as part of our innovative design team, you will be responsible for turning concepts into fully realised, high-quality designs that meet client specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused designer to develop their skills in a supportive, high-growth business.
The Role:- Create detailed P&IDs, layout plans, and general arrangement drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and maintain a 3D library of standard plant items.
- Collaborate with project engineers and clients to ensure designs meet requirements.
- Support quality control and validation of manufactured systems.
- Work across projects to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and meet high standards.
- Degree or qualification in Mechanical or Design Engineering preferred, but not essential.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, with working knowledge of MS AutoCAD Lite (or similar CAD packages).
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design.
- Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to continuously learn.
