About the Opportunity

We are working with a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector to recruit a Supply Chain Process Lead. This is a key on-site role based in Bristol, offering the opportunity to drive end-to-end supply chain excellence across a complex and dynamic operation.

Reporting directly to the Materials Manager, you will take ownership of core supply chain processes, leading continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring seamless integration across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
    • Lead the design, optimisation, and governance of end-to-end supply chain processes
    • Drive Lean / Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance
  • Cross-Functional Integration
    • Align Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, Planning, and Customer Service processes
    • Ensure smooth collaboration across departments
  • Planning Leadership
    • Support and enhance S&OP / SIOP processes
    • Improve demand and supply planning accuracy
  • Procurement & Supplier Management
    • Strengthen supplier-related processes and performance management frameworks
  • Warehouse & Inventory Excellence
    • Improve inventory control, stock accuracy, and warehouse operations
  • Logistics & Distribution
    • Optimise transport and distribution processes to improve service and cost
  • Customer Liaison
    • Enhance customer-facing supply chain processes to improve service levels
  • Governance, Compliance & Reporting
    • Establish clear process governance, KPIs, and reporting standards

Candidate Profile

We’re keen to speak with candidates who bring a strong mix of operational knowledge and process improvement expertise. You may not meet every requirement, but if you have relevant experience, we’d still love to hear from you.

  • Experience across multiple supply chain functions (e.g. planning, procurement, logistics, warehouse, customer service)
  • Proven track record in process improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)
  • CI qualification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)
  • Experience with ERP and digital systems (SAP, WMS, Kinaxis advantageous)
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Experience supporting S&OP / SIOP processes
