The role would suit applicants who are proficient in SolidWorks, have experience producing detailed engineering drawings, and enjoy collaborating on innovative design projects. Applicants with a degree or qualification in Mechanical or Design Engineering will have an advantage, though hands‐on experience and practical know‐how are equally valued. Candidates with experience in P&IDs, layout plans, and 3D plant design are encouraged to apply.

Working as part of our innovative design team, you will be responsible for turning concepts into fully realised, high‐quality designs that meet client specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‐focused designer to develop their skills in a supportive, high‐growth business.

The Role:

Create detailed P&IDs, layout plans, and general arrangement drawings using SolidWorks.

Develop and maintain a 3D library of standard plant items.

Collaborate with project engineers and clients to ensure designs meet requirements.

Support quality control and validation of manufactured systems.

Work across projects to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and meet high standards.

The Person:

Degree or qualification in Mechanical or Design Engineering preferred, but not essential.

Proficient in SolidWorks, with working knowledge of MS AutoCAD Lite (or similar CAD packages).

Ideally 3+ years\’ experience in mechanical design.

Self‐motivated with a \”can‐do\” attitude.

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to continuously learn.
