Job Description Tool Maker Plymouth, UK Upto £39,500 DOE + Monthly Bonus (based on production) + Pension + Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Insurance + Wellness Programme + Additional Benefits. Rotating Shift pattern As the Tool Maker, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities. You will apply your problem-solving skills and continuous improvement techniques to maximize tooling performance, enhance quality, and reduce waste. You will also be tasked with designing, fabricating, and commissioning new jigs and fixtures to support production processes. In this fast-paced environment, you will need to prioritize workload effectively, responding promptly to breakdowns and completing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure seamless operations. Your role will also include performing reactive repairs on press tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts. You will play a key role in supporting new product introductions, ensuring that equipment and processes meet operational requirements. Analysing tooling issues, identifying faults, and developing effective preventive and total productive maintenance strategies will be integral to your responsibilities.
